the short version
bodhilock is built to be quiet — with your attention and with your data. we collect only what the app needs to work: a record of your sits and your lock schedules, tied to your account. we use no third-party trackers and we don't sell or share your data.
what we collect
per-account usage data only: your meditation sits (such as when they happened and their length) and the app-lock schedules you set. this is what lets bodhilock lock and unlock your apps on your chosen rhythm.
what we do not collect
bodhilock does not collect your contacts, location, browsing history, health data, audio, or photos. the list of apps you choose to lock is managed on your device through apple's screen time framework; bodhilock cannot see your activity inside those apps.
third parties
we use no third-party analytics or advertising trackers. if you join the early-access list on this website, your email is used only to tell you when bodhilock is available, and for nothing else.
your choices
you can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and its data at any time. reach us at support@bodhilock.com.
